Trained Monkey Pet Service is a licensed, bonded and insured company. We are here to provide quality care for your pets in an active, fun and social setting.

 

We also offer daily home visits for your birds, cats, rats, lizards, snakes or other household pet that may need loving care while you are away on vacation.

  

 

                

 

After almost 30 years as a professional Architect, I was caught in the recession of 2008 and needed to rethink my future. The love I have for my pets (and all animals), and especially for my 2 schipperkes, prompted me to investigate a new career working with animals. Household pets seemed a logical choice so here I am....Trained Monkey was born.

 

I completed a year-long apprenticeship studying under Jeff Tinsley and Sound Animal Services, (www.soundanimals.com) where I learned positive reinforcement training techniques and dog behavior. Once the year was over, I became one of his Dog Trainers at Sound Animal located in Interbay on 16th Ave. W.   I am also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR with the American Safety & Health Institute.
